Name of the Product:Northern BF (Balanced Fertilizer)

(Potato & other sugar beet, Sweet potato, Yams, Oxalituberosa, Cassava global tuberous vegetables fertilizer. )

Nutrient Content:

N = 6.22%, P = 3.0% (P2O5 = 6.87%), K = 11.50% (K2O = 13.80%),

S = 2.04%, Zn = 0.4%, B = 0.1%, Filler 0 Materials = 34%

Fertilizer dose & application Method:

For medium fertility Soils.

1. Apply 2-3 Kg BF®/decimal (+bag Zinc & bag Boron) during final planting.

2. Apply 200-250 gm urea/decimal 15-20 days after planting followed by irrigation.

3. Top dress 600-700 gm urea/decimal 30-35 days after planting during earthing up.

Apply 20-30% more fertilizers for low fertility soils.

Notes: Fertilizer trial on Potato was conducted at TCRC, BARI Joydebpur & Munshigonj Northern BF & Jaibo Sar on the yield of Potato (2005-06): Joydebpur 28.50 t/ha and Munshigonj 29.55 t/ha. and BADC, Domar, Nilphamari Northern BF on the yield of Potato 32.38 t/ha.
