Shakti Fertilizer dose & application method:
For medium fertility soils:
1. Shakti 2 – 3 kg/decimal (+ bag Boron) should be applied during final land preparation.
2. 600-700 gm Urea after 20-21 days and 45-50 days and 60-70 days after should be applied around the plant and mixed with the soil.
N.B. Efficacy of Northern Shakti on Cotton.
Location: Regional cotton research station, Sadarpur, Dinajpur , Bangladesh . Northern Shakti provided significantly higher yield (2350 kg /ha) than the control (1000 kg/ha).

Fertilizer dose & application Method:
A. For new Planting:
1. Apply 500 gm Northern organic fertilizer in the planting hole, followed by irrigation.
2. Plant mango sapling after 5-7 days of organic fertilizer application followed by irrigation.
B. For bearing trees:
1. Apply the fertilizer as given in the following table twice in a year at June-July and September-October.

Notes: An experiment was conducted on Northern shakti Sar' at BARI Regional Horticulture Research Station, Chapai Nawabgonj in the year of 2006. The highest fruit yield was obtained from Northern Shakti applied plants (26.88 kg) while recommended dose fertilizer gave moderated (23.87 kg) yield.

Tomato
1. 1.5 Kg Shakti® /decimal should be applied before final land preparation.
2. 1 Kg Shakti® , 2 Kg Northern Jaibo® and 150 gm urea/decimal after 15 days should be applied around the plant and covered lightly with the soil.
3. 1 Kg Shakti® , 2 Kg Northern jaibo® , 75 gm urea/decimal should be applied around the plant and covered lightly with the soil.
Brinjal/Egg plant:
1. 1.5-2 Kg Shakti® during final land preparation.
2. 2 Kg Northern organic and 100 gm urea / decimal 15 days after planting.
3. 1 Kg Shakti® 2 Kg Northern jaibo® , 100 gm urea/decimal after flowering.
4. 250 gm Shakti® and 100 gm MP each month after harvesting started.
Cauliflower:
1. 1.5 Kg Shakti® /decimal should be applied before final land preparation.
2. After 15-20 days 1 Kg Shakti® /decimal and 100 gm urea/decimal should be applied aroung the plant & covered lightly with the soil.
3. After 30-40 days 1 Kg Shakti® and 150 gm urea/decimal should be applied around the plant & covered lightly with the soil.
10-20% more fertilizers should be used for low fertility soils.
Notes: Soil Science Division, Horticulture Research Center , BARI , Joydebpur, Gazipur to evaluate the performance of Northern Shakti & Northern Jaibo (Organic Fertilizer) on Vegetables (Bittergourd, Bean, Tomato & Ladies finger) during the season 22 March 2005 to 30 July 2005 . The result was excellent in Vegetables.

2. After 10 days of plant emergence 200gm urea/decimal and 30 days 100gm urea/decimal should be Applied as top dressing.
3. Both application should be made 25-30 cm around the main stem.
ORANGE (Citrus Fruits)
1. Northern organic @ 250 gm/hole should be applied at the final pit preparation.
2. Seedlings should be planted after applied 5-7 days of fertilizer application.
