Recommended doses of Northern Organic Supplementary/ Complementary Fertilizer in Tea: Nursery Management:
Bed Maintenance: 30 kg sand + 10 kg Northern Organic Fertilizer well-mixed may be used @one tea-spoonfull per bag.
When the cuttings have established or after 4 (four) months VP
Nursery: Apply per poly bags 8-10 g NOF at the interval of 15 days.

Notes: Effect of Northern shakti fertilizer and organic fertilizer on the yield of tea. A fertilizer trial on tea was conducted at sathgao Tea Estate (under AEZ – 29- Northern & Eastern Hills of Bangladesh ) BTRI in order to assess its effect on soil properties and its yield on tea from 2001.
The experiment was conducted for 3 years and the average yield data (above) have been compared with the yield date for normal dose in tea.
Rate of increase with treatment T 3 (Normal Dose + Northern organic fertilizer) was compared with normal dose for mature (T 2 ) and it was found 9% increase.
Again rate of increase with treatment T 4 (Northern Shakti fertilizer + Urea) was compared with Normal dose for mature Tea & the rate of increase was 15.15% |
